The Requirements of 10 T/H Bio NPK Fertilizer Production Project in Algeria

Our client from Algeria wanted to produce a balanced 15-15-15 bio NPK fertilizer with stable biological activity. Their raw materials mainly include 10% organic composted cow manure, and inorganic nutrients such as 46% urea, 52% MAP, and 60% KCl. Considering the country’s hot and dry climate, they wanted a stable granulation process, controlled fermentation system, and energy-efficient design. To meet these needs, YUSHUNXIN provided a customized 10 TPH bio NPK fertilizer production line. It includes automatic batching, composting, granulation, and packaging systems that suit the Algerian climate and power supply conditions.

How to Avoid the Hot Weather to Make Cow Manure Compost?

The biggest challenge for Algerian users is how to make cow dung compost under high ambient temperatures.  Which can reach above 40°C in summer. Because overheating or rapid drying can kill beneficial microorganisms and affect fertilizer quality. To solve this, YUSHUNXIN designed a closed aerobic fermentation system with automatic aeration and moisture monitoring. The system includes:

  • Sealed stainless steel fermentation tanks (150 m³) with temperature sensors and oxygen control.

  • Automatic air circulation to keep the internal temperature between 55–65°C, ideal for microbial activity.

  • Moisture-retaining spraying system that prevents the compost from overdrying in desert climates.

With this setup, the customer can finish a complete cattle manure composting cycle within 7–10 days. And then, it can produce uniform and odorless organic materials for the NPK granulation stage.

After composting, we recommend the Algerian customer blend the organic materials  with mineral nutrients to form high-quality bio NPK fertilizer granules. The whole production process includes:

Automatic batching and feeding system – for precise weighing of urea, MAP, KCl, and composted manure.

The fertilizer mixing machine ensures even blending of organic and inorganic materials.
It can form smooth, round bio NPK granules.
The system can remove moisture and stabilize final bio NPK fertilizer granules.

The customer can add bio-microbial agents by the machine at low temperature (<40°C).

It weighs and seals 25–50 kg bags for sale.

To avoid power instability in Algeria, YUSHUNXIN also equips the 10 T/H bio NPK fertilizer plant with appropriate diesel generators.
